Master Gardener Volunteer Program

The Meade County Extension Master Gardener Program is a volunteer organization designed to provide the public with research-based horticultural information.

Trained Extension Master Gardener volunteers are involved statewide with a variety of community education projects such as:

  • Demonstartion gardens
  • Classes at community gardens
  • Gardening information at farmer's markets
  • Youth garden education in schools
  • Local garden tours

Applications are now being accepted for the annual Fall online training program.
